At your initial visit, we begin with a detailed conversation about your symptoms, concerns, and goals. From there, a comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment is performed, which may include postural analysis, range of motion and strength testing, and an evaluation of movement patterns. With your consent, this assessment may also include an internal pelvic floor examination to better understand muscle function and coordination.
Your findings are then reviewed together, with a clear explanation of how they relate to your symptoms. Based on this discussion, a personalized treatment plan is created.
Treatment may include hands-on manual therapy, patient education, and the development of an initial home program. This plan may involve targeted exercises, activity modifications, and self-management strategies to support your progress between visits.
